What to expect

Edgewater Chamber's three-day music-and-vendor fest on Broadway between Thorndale and Ardmore, August 28–30, 2026. Friday 5–10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday noon–10 p.m. 35+ bands across multiple stages (the Edgewater sound: indie, blues, soul, world), 100+ vendors, neighborhood food and drink, beer garden. Note: Bryn Mawr is one block south of the festival footprint, not the location — the fest runs Broadway/Thorndale/Ardmore.

Tickets

Transit

Red Line to Thorndale or Bryn Mawr — both stops are at the festival footprint. The 36 Broadway bus runs through the fest and reroutes during fest hours. The 84 Peterson connects from the Brown Line. Driving is rough; Edgewater's residential streets are permit-only.

Daytime Saturday and Sunday are kid-friendly. Edgewater has lots of young families and the audience reflects that. Stroller-easy on Broadway. Restrooms via porta-johns and participating restaurants. Friday evening leans 21+ as the bands kick in.

  1. Watch the 2026 lineup before committing your prime night. The event's value depends on music curation more than generic fest browsing.
  2. Use the Red Line to Thorndale or Granville and walk; Broadway traffic gets tight, and neighborhood parking disappears quickly.
  3. The Kids Zone is planned for the Broadway Armory parking lot at the southeast corner of Broadway and Thorndale, making this easier for families than the typical music-first street fest.
  4. Build in a lake break. Hollywood/Thorndale beach access is close enough to make the afternoon feel like Edgewater instead of just another street closure.
