A busy Southport Corridor food street fest with a clear hook: tacos from more than 10 local eateries, two entertainment stages, beer-and-taco pairings, kids activities, and Mexican wrestling in the street near Southport and Cornelia.

Tickets

Free to enter; the organizer and chamber describe a $10 suggested donation benefiting Friends of Lakeview. VIP Experience is a separate $50 ticket with drinks, private bar, seating/shade, bathroom access, and food samples.

Transit

Brown Line to Southport or Red/Brown/Purple to Belmont, then walk. Southport residential parking is tight even without a festival.

Family-friendly

Yes. Official materials list kids activities and lucha libre, but crowds around evening headline sets can get thick.

Food and drink

  • Beat Kitchen — 2025 People’s Choice winner and 2026 vendor.
  • Cabos Tacos — 2025 Critics Choice winner and 2026 vendor.
  • Tuco and Blondie — Southport neighborhood anchor.
  • Tandoor Char House — Fusion option in the taco lineup.

Local tips

  1. The $10 language is a suggested donation, not a hard admission ticket.
  2. Best Taco voting and lucha libre are the local hooks; do not treat it as just another taco row.
  3. The Southport Brown Line approach is much easier than trying to thread a rideshare through Addison/Roscoe at peak hours.
