What to expect

29th edition of the West Loop's flagship street fest, right on Randolph 'Restaurant Row' between Peoria and Racine. Free to enter — Friday 5–10pm, Saturday and Sunday noon–10pm — with food from the neighborhood's award-winning kitchens (Girl & the Goat, Carbon, Goddess & the Grocer, Kama Bistro, Nia and more) and two music stages running all weekend with headliners like Joyce Manor, Oliver Heldens, The Happy Fits, and Matt Maeson. The Wonderlane Kids Zone opens at 11am Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets

Free admission — pay as you go for food and drinks at the booths. The fest is run by the West Loop Community Organization (a 501(c)(3)); a 50/50 cash raffle, an online silent auction, and an on-site barrel raffle (hourly drawings at Carpenter & Randolph) fund neighborhood programs, and organizers cite a $3M one-weekend economic impact for local businesses.

Transit

CTA Green/Pink Line → Morgan is two blocks south, and the #20 Madison bus runs a block over. Metra to Ogilvie, then a short walk. Driving the West Loop during the fest is rough — Divvy (stations all around) or rideshare is easier.

Bag policy

Open street fest with bag checks at entry. Strollers welcome — the Wonderlane Kids Zone is built for families.

Family-friendly

Yes, especially in daytime. The Wonderlane Kids Zone opens at 11am Saturday and Sunday with activities for little ones; evenings skew toward the music crowd.

History

It is produced by the West Loop Community Organization, a 501(c)(3) that channels the weekend's 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and barrel raffle into neighborhood programs — organizers cite a $3M one-weekend economic impact for local businesses.
